Welcome to RMSEL's
Parent Teacher Student Crew (PTSC)!
We are crew not passengers, strengthened by acts of consequential service to others. -Kurt Hahn

On Friday, January 17, RMSEL's own Max Romero was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). The previous day, Max had complained that he was having trouble breathing. His mom took him to the emergency room expecting a routine check up. Upon receiving alarming lab test results he was admitted to the hospital for an emergency bone marrow biopsy, revealing his AML diagnosis a mere 24 hours later.
The treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) involves an intensive, 5-8 month, inpatient program that starts with Chemotherapy. Max is beloved by his community of friends, teammates, neighbors, his cat and two dogs, and most of all by his family of two households, Mom Amy Gage, Dad Curtis Romero, and sister Eliza.

Please keep on eye out from your Crew Leaders regarding a RMSEL Wish Week Feb. 10-14.
